My last post was all about Oktoberfest, so I didn't even have a chance to talk about the rest of Munich. It is a really beautiful city.
We got really lucky because we had beautiful weather on the day we went to Oktoberfest. The weather wasn't as great on the following day, but we got to tour around a little.
We sought out one place that some of the locals had told us about where people go to surf. That's right...surf.
One of the Germans told us about this place and explained how even some Australians that have come over to surf it have a difficult time in succeeding. Now, I see why.
It is obviously a man made waterway.
It was so weird/cool. I can't imagine how these people practice without knocking themselves out. Very impressive.
